European projects

The Port of Rostock is part of the trans-European core network corridors Scandinavia-Mediterranean (ScanMed) and Orient-East-Mediterranean (OrientEast-Med) defined by the EU Commission and, as a core network port, an important transport hub on the German Baltic Sea coast.

International cooperation projects

ROSTOCK PORT GmbH participates in international cooperation projects in Europe in order to strengthen and further develop the port of Rostock as an efficient transport corridor via Rostock and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern together with various partners.

In addition, the port of Rostock is part of the rail freight corridors RFC7 – Orient/East-Med and RFC8 – North Sea – Baltic of RailNetEurope (RNE).

Our Projects

ROSTOCK PORT GmbH participates in various international cooperation projects in the Baltic Sea region in order to strengthen and further develop the port location Rostock as such and the efficient transport corridors via Rostock and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern together with various partners and to position it with a wide range of interest groups.
