In 2023 over 115.000 cargo units were handled at the intermodal terminal. This means that rail-based combined transport accounts for around 20% of the cargo volume handled by ferries and RoRo services at the Port of Rostock.<br \/>\nIn line with the ever-growing market demand for rail-based green logistics chains, a new &#8220;rail decade&#8221; is expected, for which ROSTOCK PORT continues to drive infrastructure development for the handling of unaccompanied loading units.
